Teeling 28 Year Old - Vintage Reserve Collection
Another superbly well-aged Irish whiskey from Teeling's Vintage Reserve Collection! Following on from the 24 year old expression winning World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2019, this extraordinary whiskey is a 28 year old Irish single malt initially matured in Bourbon casks before being moved over to Sauternes wine casks to marry. A release of 4,000 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
White peaches, cut grass, white chocolate and a hint of toasted almonds.
Palate
Silky smooth with ripe peaches, honey, smoked sea saltiness and subtle spices on the tongue.
Finish
Long and mellow with a continuation of the sweet spice.
