Teeling 18 Renaissance #1

The first release in a brand new range from Teeling! This is an 18 year old Irish single malt release for The Renaissance Series, which follows on from Teeling's award-winning The Revival Series. Released in celebration of the ongoing Renaissance of Irish whiskey, Dublin whiskey and Teeling themselves, this expression was firstly matured in ex-bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in ex-Madeira casks, imparting rich, fruity sweetness. 9,000 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose Ripe red fruits, figs, cinnamon and toffee.

Palate Silky richness accompanied by toffee apple, dried fruits and rosewater notes with cinnamon and clove spice on the tongue.

Finish Dry finish, with a return of the spices and hints of maraschino cherry.
