Teeling 15yo Single Grain

Dublin's innovative Teeling distillery has been pioneering the Irish single grain category, using its recipe of 95% corn and 5% malted barley, and experimenting with different cask finishes. This edition initially maturation in bourbon casks before finishing its 15-year maturation with a year in Sauvignon Blanc wine casks. Bottled at a bold 50% ABV, without chill filtration.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Citrus peels, fresh grapefruit, floral orchard blossom, and crisp fruits.

Palate A medley of honeyed fruit and spice, with juicy melon, green apple, and drizzles of honey backed by oaken vanilla and a prickle of green peppercorn.

Finish Drying oak and spices drift slowly, with more sweet, honeyed fruit.
