Teaninich 9 Year Old 2010 (casks 718018, 718019 & 721587) - Small Batch (James Eadie)

Distilled in 2010, this indie Teaninich spent just under a decade in a trio of casks made up of first fill and refill bourbon hogsheads. After nine years James Eadie bottled the Speysider for its Small Batch series in a release of 1,084 bottles full of sweet cask influence.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Sweet malt alongside apple and rhubarb crumble, along with hints of damp earth.

Palate

Peppery oak and woody smoke lead into more cooked orchard fruit, and a drizzle of silky honey.

Finish

A tang of citrus lingers, balancing creamy vanilla.
