Arguably the most intriguing whisky in the Diageo Special Releases 2025 is this single grain Scotch from Teaninich. In a distillery-first, it was created from rye, which, in combination with the unique mash filter and bourbon casks, has created quite a distinct and delicious whisky.
Toffee popcorn and caramel wafers, joined by vanilla cream, rye spice, and hints of clove and dill.
Creamy toffee sweetness balanced by rye bread spice, nutmeg, and herbal depth. A touch of mint and peppercorn brightens the profile.
Sweet and spicy, with vanilla fudge, clove, and lingering rye warmth.
