Description

A seven-year-old single malt from Teaninich joins the indie range from Spirits Shop' Selection. Distilled in 2016, this one spent its years in a single hogshead, yielding a total of 314 bottles, at a hefty 60.2% ABV, when it was opened in 2023.

Nose

Apple cake, toasted marzipan, creamy oats, and seeded sourdough.

Palate

Yeasty bread and grist are joined by buttery barley, and waves of honey before soft cakey spices arrive.

Finish

Baked fruit, baking spice, crumbly biscuits, and a touch of peppery oak.
