Teaninich 5 Year Old - Glen Cooper
5 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Teaninich distillery in the Highlands, independently bottled for the Glen Cooper range. Somewhat quite and unassuming (and overlooked), Teaninich produced some cracking whiskies with plenty of nutty notes and fresh fruit elements shining though - and this is a tasty example.

Nose
Sugared citrus peels and juicy apricot, alongside a hint of sponge cake.
Palate
Heavy malt, almond and green apple. Slow build of diced kitchen herbs and black pepper.
Finish
Chocolate peanuts, honey and lemon.
