A 1984 vintage Teaninich, which then rested in a pair of casks until 1996, when it was independently bottled by Lombard at 40% ABV. The cask type in which it was matured in is a mystery, though perhaps the tasty flavour profile of the Highlander will be able to give us a clue.
Fresh pancakes with lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar, floral honey, clove, forest aromas and ripe pear.
Peaches and honey, earthy oak, bananas and ice cream, pine nut, orange oil and a mineral backbone.
Floral peony, even more banana, cinnamon bun and orchard fruit.
