Single Malt
Scotland

A rather intriguing indie Highlander here. After its distillation this Teaninich single malt was left to mature in a hogshead that previously held peated Islay whisky for over a decade! After 11 years, Chorlton Whisky cracked open the cask and bottled it up at 57.5% ABV, with an outturn of 187 subtly smoky bottles. As always with Chorlton expressions, there's quite the scene to observe on the label!
Just a whisper of maritime smoke and green seaweed notes, with underripe plum and vanilla custard.
Tinned peaches and oily lemon peel, with browned (slightly burnt) butter and dark berry coulis.
Boiled citrus sweeties, balanced by burnt rubber and fragrant peat.
