This cask strength Teaninich was distilled in the Highlands on 13 May 2009. The spirit was left to age in a single bourbon hogshead for the next decade, and was bottle by Rest & Be Thankful just a week after its 10th birthday on 20 May 2019. The cask yielded 270 bottles at a generous 60.4% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Peaches and cream, fresh hay, petrichor and apricot jam.
Palate
White pepper leads into more stone fruits and dried apricot, with earthy vanilla pod and cut grass.
Finish
Dried mango and Solero ice cream.
