A 10 year old single cask single malt from the Teaninich Distillery, independently bottled up for Deerstalker's The Wild Scotland Collection. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled a decade later at 58.5% ABV, with labels featuring some sort of small animal on the label. Looks a bit like a stoat... Edit: We have been informed by a very wise customer that it's actually a pine marten! We highly recommend googling pine martens, as they are wonderful.
Grassy malt with whispers of smoke, plus apple crumble with vanilla ice cream.
Hazelnuts and almonds, digestive biscuits, peppercorn, clove, vanilla tablet.
Soft hints of lemon sweetness on the finish.
It is the sweetest whisky I ever tried. Fabulous.
Seriously? It's a pine marten! Lovely dram too.
