A wonderfully well-sherried single malt from the Tamnavulin Distillery, which begins its life in American oak barrels before being finished in three different types of sherry casks! Three of 'em! Shouldn't come as a surprise, but if you're a fan of all those Christmas cakey, chocolatey, red berry-y notes, you'll probably be into this one from the Speyside-based distillery.
Brown sugar, gingersnaps and cinnamon rolls, raspberry jam and a hint of toasted malt.
Cadbury's Fruit & Nut, more pastry notes, honeycomb and Christmas cake.
Dried apricot, citrus peels and vanilla pod.

Disapointment delux, feels to young and needes to mature more if you ask me. Feels to heavy on the alcohol taste. If you add water and let it air for like 10-15 min i was able to drink it but i wont get this one again. Sorry..
Absolutely beautiful have to say I really enjoyed this one. Got as a present but will be buying this one again for myself.
I love this! My stepson bought me my first bottle, although I'm only half way through it the second bottle is on order. Plenty of character, rich but not too sweet. For the money my new favourite. I love sherry cask whiskey as I find that they make the age off. Wonderful stuff......
Loved the Double Cask so tried this edition. Got a spicy Apple note. Sweet and chocolate taste with a long spicy after taste. I am usually more of a Smoky Whisky fan but maybe the Tamnavulin family are changing that. Well done
Great sherry nose leads to a honey and fruit whisky that belies its price. Not o verly complex, but what you get is a nice sweet sherry whisky with a decent oak finish of light spice struth
