A 10-year-old single malt from Tamnavulin, presented by indie bottler Dràm Mòr. This single malt was treated to a finish in a first-fill pineau des charentes barrique, bringing sweet vanilla and warming spice to the buttery malt at its core. A release of 282 bottles.
Fresh oaky Bourbon abounds in this rich Tamnavulin along with a sweet buttered fig note. There is more is the dram opens up. A sweet fresh pipe tobacco warms the nose.
Sweeter than on the nose but livelier. This dances across the palate with sweet rich vanilla and a warmth from nutmeg and white pepper. Delicious!
A long and developing finish as the sweet vanilla Bourbon releases that white oak spice.
