A 28 year old single malt from Tamdhu in Speyside, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The label features Prince Saladin, shadow-boxing in the moonlight - a reference to Tamdhu's saladin box which it used (for quite a while indeed) to malt its barley.
Batch 2 is a release of 51 bottles.

Stewed apples and pears, topped with loads of honey and cinnamon.
Crumbly pastry, buttered scones, more ripe apple notes and now a hint of blackberry.
White pepper and oak warmth, balanced by tangy dark fruit.
