Tamdhu 24 Year Old 1991 - Small Batch (WM Cadenhead)
24 year old single malt from the Tamdhu distillery, independently bottled by one of the oldest Scottish whisky bottlers in the game- W.M. Cadenhead. This was distilled back in 1991 and matured in bourbon hogsheads for just shy of quarter of a century until 2016, when it was bottled as part of the Small Batch range. A release of 486 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy vanilla, green apple and a touch of freshly baked doughtnut.
Palate
More apple notes at the core of this one (get it?), with honey and clove in support.
Finish
Well-oaked, with a soft spiciness of cinnamon lingering.
