Single malt from the Tamdhu distillery, bottled by the ever impressive Càrn Mòr Celebration of the Cask range. This was distilled in June 1997 and left to age in a single hogshead for 21 years. In August 2018, it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 225 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery malt and apricot jam, dotted with raisins.
Palate
Spicier than the nose suggests, with clove and black pepper appearing from underneath the waves of caramel.
Finish
Pear, toffee and a touch of cinnamon.
