As the distillery favours sherry cask for its own releases, your opportunity to taste Tamdhu from casks like refill hogsheads are left to bottlers like Douglas Laing. In this example, we have a single cask 15-year-old Tamdhu from 2007, bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 48.4% ABV in late 2022 for the Old Particular series.
Tropical fruit, vanilla, golden syrup, and green apple.
Pineapple chunks, brown sugar, more ripe apple notes, and a hint of cinnamon.
Mellow and fruity.
