The folks at independent bottler Dràm Mòr snapped up a cracking cask of Tamdhu single malt here. Distilled in 2016, the whisky spent eight years maturing, finishing up in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead before it was bottled at cask strength in 2024. A release of 230 bottles.
Delicate notes of orchard fruits and sweet baking spice warmth.
Creamy toffee, sherry-poached fruit, drying oak, cinnamon, and a touch of ginger.
Ginger warmth lingers, with fragrant peppercorns, chocolate fudge, and waves of dark toffee.
