Talisker
30 year old single malt from Talisker - a massively satisfying expression from the distillery on the Isle of Skye. After three decades of maturation, this whisky boasts an incredible flavour profile of sea breeze, oak, smoke and ripe berries. Incredible stuff.
I like Talisker, and this is the best one yet. Age shows in it's complexity, balance and dryness. Wonderful yellow and red fruit aromas balanced by hint of smoke, muted pepperyness and drying oak and leather.
So i had a glass of this my gf wanted one too, then she wanted another, me too...
My favorite single malt. Worth the price! Insanely perfumed nose. Honey, rasins, oak, leather, marzipan, and brown bread on the tongue. Lengthy, luxurious finish. Such a marvelous dram!
Nose: Astringent and woody. Taste: smoked trout, dry oak. Finish: light salty capers, incredibly long lasting warm delicious dry favor that just lasts forever. A happy drink indeed. After sampling, I am putting in an order for my bottle now!
