A Distillers Edition bottling of single malt from the Talisker distillery on the rugged Isle of Skye. This was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2016 after a finishing period in Amoroso casks, then bottled at 45.8% ABV.

Dark chocolate, dried fruit dusted with clove and black pepper, sea spray.
Apricot, raisin and a hint of blackberry too. Soon enough, wafts of classic Talisker smoke come along.
Long and robust with more smoke and sweet, fruity Sherry.
This is one of the absolute best whiskeys I've ever had. A bit pricey bit personally - I would have paid the double for this one, easily.
Tastes like cheap toffee
Remarkable whiskey, you can take a massive sea side storm into your mouth with some fruit and a touch of peat!
A fair opponent to Ardbegs Uigadail and Lagavulin PX Distillers Edition. Very fruity, lots of sherry. Great whisky.
