Talisker 11 Year Old 2011 (cask 19902) - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)
Single cask single malt Scotch distilled at Talisker in 2011. It matured in a sherry butt for 11 years until it was bottled by Hunter Laing for its The Old Malt Cask series in 2022. A limited outturn of 431 bottles here, at cask strength and with no added colour.

Nose
Big wafts of coastal peat, with some dried berry notes, brown sugar, and warm spice.
Palate
Fruity, sherry sweetness, with salted caramel, barbecue smoke, and seaweed notes lending a savoury edge.
Finish
Allspice, and lingering peat, with drizzles of treacle.
