Mysterious single malt from Islay, independently bottled by Sweden's Svenska Eldvatten. This was distilled by an undisclosed distillery on the Kildalton Coast of Islay in August 2007, matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and bottled 7 years later on September 2014, with an outturn of 258 cask-strength bottles.
Toasted teacake, TCP, a whiff of roasted coffee bean.
Malty and robust, with a spicy kick of cardamom hiding behind layers of peat.
Remains barley-fuelled on the finish with perhaps a hint of ash.
