    Strathmill 9 Year Old 2009 (cask 12811) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

    A 9 year old single cask Strathmill single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range. The whisky was distilled back in February 2009 and left to age until September 2018, when it was bottled at 46% ABV with an outturn of 401 bottles.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Honeyed porridge, cut grass and maple syrup. Hint of sawdust underneath.

    Palate

    Butterscotch, fresh green apple and chewy barley.

    Finish

    Dark chocolate bitterness and lemon peel. Just a pinch of baking spice lingers.
