From the Adelphi Archive selection comes a particularly well-aged Strathmill, distilled in 1976 and bottled 31 years later in 2008. Just 64 bottles were produced.
A huge waft of salted butter on toasted teacakes joined by Turkish Delight and thyme.
White chocolate fudge and flaky pastry. Floral notes appear again, brown sugar and pine nuts.
Oat biscuits and lemon curd, salinity of green olive.
