It's the third batch of That Boutique-y Whisky Company's bottling of Strathmill single malt - this time, they've bottled at 25 year old whisky from the Speyside-based distillery. Strathmill used to be a Speyside-based porridge oats mill, but it looks like Goldilocks didn't get the memo about their change in production output....
Batch 3 is a release of 115 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Eucalyptus brings freshness at the start, and is followed by fruity notes of white grapes and jam tarts. A little hint of wheat follows.
Quite soft and buttery, with creamy notes of full-fat milk. Bright bursts of Liquoirce Allsorts.
A swift but sweet finish of honey'd porridge.

This is an incredible malt. The eucalyptus / spicy notes on the nose are intriguing and not something I've come across regularly - and the finish is epically long (not with you there, MoM).
