An indie bottling of Strathmill, bottled by Càrn Mòr for the Celebration of the Cask series! The Speysider was distilled in June 1994, and rested in a single hogshead for nearly a quarter of a century. The whisky was bottled at 24 years old in January 2019, with 217 bottles released at cask strength, 47.2% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apricot tart and lots of honeyed stone fruit, with creamy vanilla and straw.
Palate
More creamy vanilla, with toasted oats, mint milk chocolate and apple blossom.
Finish
Toasty oak, orange chocolate and tinned pear.
