Strathmill 12 Year Old - Flora and Fauna (2001 Release) 70cl Whisky

Strathmill spends much of its time supplying malt for blends, so this 12-year-old Flora & Fauna bottling offers a welcome chance to meet it on its own terms. The Speyside distillery uses purifiers on its spirit stills to help produce its light, delicate style, with citrus, nutty cereal and warming ginger notes to explore here. This is the 2001 release, from the year Strathmill joined the collection.
