A lip-smacking Strathmill single malt, distilled in 2006 over in Speyside. It was left for over a decade in a combination of refill and first-fill bourbon barrels. Eventually, the whisky was vatted from four casks and bottled in April 2019 at 12 years old by Gordon & MacPhail. A wonderfully fruity and light whisky, with an outturn of 1,034 bottles at 46% ABV.
Nose Apple and cinnamon loaf, with ripe pear, vanilla oak and fresh hay.
Palate Freshly cut grass, leading into key lime pie, golden syrup and bittersweet citrus peels.
Finish Toasty oak, fresh malt and a mixture of white and dark chocolate.
