A limited edition Strathmill single malt, bottled by The Single Cask. After it was distilled on 1 November 2006, the Speysider spent the next 12 years maturing in a single cask. When it was finally ready, in April 2019 the whisky was bottled at 57.8% ABV, with a release of 271 bottles.
Syrupy flapjacks, freshly cut grass and blueberry muffin with a drizzle of caramel and heaps of fresh malt.
Pancakes and maple syrup, gentle note of peach, tangy apple skin and creamy lemon tart.
Desiccated coconut enrobed in dark chocolate, waxy lemon peel and a hint of thyme.
Lovely dram, with a fantastic nose, worth getting the bottle just for the nose! lovely, mouth coating dram with a lot of forward taste, with a dark chocolate finish. With it at 57.8% this is very approachable, but is equally very good with water, very easy, but still complex drinking with water.
