An 11 year old indie bottling of Strathmill, distilled in December 2007. It was aged in a bourbon hogshead and then finished in a cask which previously held Tawny Port sourced from Tanoaria Josafer in Portugal. The Speysider was then bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants, with 288 limited bottles released at 56.8% ABV for the Lady of the Glen series.
Stem ginger, sweet and creamy panna cotta and nougat with aromas of fresh hay.
Vanilla custard and a sprinkle of brown sugar, with more aromatic ginger and a nutty oiliness.
A hint of cut grass appears, with red fruits and custard creams.
