Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Christmas cake and rum-soaked raisins form a big sherried nose with mixed spice dancing in the background.
Palate
This whisky tastes of raisins and spices with a little chocolate covered almonds in the background.
Finish
The finish is long and complex with notes of Christmas pudding and green apples.
Overall
This is a heavily sherried whisky with a surprising vitality for its age.
