This single malt from Strathisla joins the Darkness collection. Matured for 15 years, the whisky finished up in a Pedro Ximénez sherry octave, custom-made for the indie bottler. It's a decadent sipper, with generous helpings of dark fruits and chocolate, coffee, and spice.
Chocolate coffee beans, leathery oak, and cacao.
Dark, runny caramel, chocolate raisins, stewed forest fruits, and a dusting of sweet cinnamon.
A touch of pepper gathers for the finish, with salted chocolate and juicy stone fruits.
