Description
This release from Strathisla Distillery was aged for 15 years in a single first-fill sherry hogshead cask (#21600502). It was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 55.6% ABV on 10 January 2024. Only 331 bottles were released for the Connoisseurs Choice range.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Rich fruitcake aromas combine with toffee apples and orange oil.
Palate
Toasted hazelnut flavours complement stewed plums and blackcurrant.
Finish
A medium-bodied finish with lingering festive spices and citrus.
