A stunning Strathisla single malt, independently bottled up for the Darkness range! This one was aged for 13 years, including a stint in a Moscatel sherry octave cask - significantly smaller than your run-of-the-mill type of cask, meaning there's a greater surface area to volume ratio, allowing for more interaction between the wood and the whisky. The result is an expression packed full of sherried deliciousness!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Oodles of fruit notes - apple, quince, raisin, cherry! Subtle whiffs of heather and oak sneak by.

Palate Rich brown sugar and coffee notes, with fresh peach and stewed plum bringing some fruity lightness.

Finish Black pepper, clove and cinnamon last.
