Here we've got a 31 year old single grain from the Strathclyde Distillery, independently bottled up by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. There's... There's a lot of info on this label. However, there's also line by a well-known philosopher at the bottle which sums it all up rather nicely. How handy!
Batch 4 is a release of 417 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Initially super light and tropical, with lots of pineapple and banana, a hint of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey develops with a flint-y mineral backdrop.
Somewhat oily, with more floral honey, cereal notes, drying oak spice and hints of candied citrus peel alongside vanilla pod.
A creamy finish of banana milkshake, with lingering notes of white pepper spice and butterscotch sweetness.

Only regret from this is that I didn't buy more before it sold out. Really beautiful! I'll have to moderate.
