Distilled at Strathclyde in September 1987, this spectacular single grain was set aside in a single refill barrel, where it remained for the next 34 years. In January 2022, the barrel was opened, and a total of 210 cask strength bottles were independently released by Douglas Laing for its Xtra Old Particular series.

Sublime! I'm not a whisky poet like so many on here.. so this will have to do. I had the pleasure and fortune of buying Master of Malt's bottling of this and it was amazing, came to buy another but it had sold out. Found Douglas Laing had bottled the 34yr old for Strathclyde and immediately bought it. Will be buying another. 5☆
