Strathclyde 29 Year Old 1994 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Hailing from Glasgow's Strathclyde distillery, this single grain Scotch whisky was filled into a single refill barrel in December 1994 where it remained for the next 29 years. In April 2024, the whisky awoke to a gentle tapping sound, which was us cracking into the cask, tasting glasses in hand, releasing it from its confines to join our exclusive Master of Malt Single Cask collection! A release of 324 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Zesty orange and lemon peels along with bitter pith, then a touch of honeyed apricot, crisp apple, marshmallow, vanilla fudge, and cinder toffee.
Palate
Silky soft notes of buttered popcorn, butterscotch, maple syrup, with candied pineapple, honeyed cereal, and floral vanilla.
Finish
A touch of Turkish Delight, vanilla shortbread, lemon sponge, toffee, and mellow, sweet oak.
