A handsomely well-matured single grain from the Strathclyde distillery, aged in a single bourbon barrel for 28 years - from 1989 to 2017. Following that, it was independently bottled by WM Cadenhead with an outturn of just 216 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Waxy orange, mint leaf and vanilla ice-cream covered in chocolate sauce.
Palate
Resinous oak, fudge and spun sugar. A hint of cinnamon warmth.
Finish
Lingering woodsy hints, and a touch of vanilla pod.
