Strathclyde 27 Year Old - Badly Drawn Dogs
Let sleeping dogs lie, and let single grain Scotch age, that's our motto! This purebred single grain from Strathclyde spent a generous 27 years slumbering in a refill barrel until we gave it a good belly rub and filled it into little toy-breed-sized 350ml bottles for our Badly Drawn Dogs series. That's a pug on the label in case you were unsure. Yes, he looks unique, but whose dog isn't? Our pal Cal drew it, and he named it Loaf.
Every bottle sold helps support Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Dogs Trust. Raise a glass, help a paw.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Crisp green apple and crunchy pear join orange peels and a touch of bitter pith, balanced by sweet orchard blossom.
Palate
Syrupy porridge sweetness, heaped with dried fruits. Floral honey, a hint of marmalade, and boiled sweeties.
Finish
Pear drops linger for the finish, with chamomile tea, vanilla, and a smidge of ginger.
