A single cask from Germany’s Stork Club, The Heart Cut #13 is a malted rye whiskey matured in a rare German Napoleon oak cask. This release is pure indulgence; think rich, chocolatey, and packed with bold, dessert-like flavours. Like Black Forest Gâteau in a glass.
Distilled on 18 June 2019 and bottled on 5 November 2024, this a limited release (just 408 bottles exist), a rare treat for rye whiskey lovers and those who enjoy a decadently dark dram. After years of conversations and cask exploration with Stork Club’s Bastian Heuser, Heart Cut co-founders Georgie Bell and Fabrizio Leoni were thrilled to try something unlike any they've had, so that's why it made the cut.

Nose Deep cocoa, dark cherries, and warming spices, with hints of oak and vanilla.
Palate Black Forest Gâteau, candied ginger, and toasted cacao nibs, balanced with a creamy vanilla richness.
Finish Long and velvety, with lingering dark chocolate and a whisper of koji umami.
