Stauning Rye - Sweet Wine Casks
This limited-edition Danish rye whisky from Stauning is made with floor-malted Danish grain, and aged in American oak for three years before a two-year finish in a combo of three sweet wine barrels: Marsala, gewürztraminer, and Ramandalo. A limited 2,909 bottles were released, packed with sweet, bright fruit, and spicy rye.

Nose
Marmalade, fresh summer berries, lemon curd, and red apple.
Palate
Spicy rye is balanced by sweet malt, honey, and candied ginger.
Finish
Vanilla pod and black pepper linger alongside juicy orchard fruit.
