A really rather interesting indie bottling here from The Single Cask. It's a peated single malt Scotch whisky from the Bunnahabhain Distillery (released under the Staoisha name), which has been given a finishing period in a Shiraz wine cask before being bottled at six years of age. 307 of these were produced.
Sea shells, rose water, burnt toast with salted butter, strawberry mousse.
A tangy hint of pineapple arrives followed by scorched caramel and a little hint of candle wax.
Juicy berry notes, with a good kick of red chilli flake.
