Description
An unpeated German single malt from St Kilian, independently bottled by Adelphi. Distilled in 2017 and matured for six years in a Moscatel butt, cask 5161 was bottled at a cask strength of 59.7% ABV. The fortified wine cask has added concentrated stone fruit, citrus, floral sweetness, and spice to St Kilian’s weighty malt spirit. Only 694 bottles were released, without chill filtration or added colour.

Nose
Orange blossom, apricot jam, sultanas, honey, malt, and fragrant spice.
Palate
Peach, candied citrus, grape must, vanilla, toasted malt, and warming oak.
Finish
Dried apricot, honey, pepper, and floral Moscatel notes.
