Springbank 40yo '68 #1414

40 year old Springbank. The sound you're hearing right now is the sound of whisky-enthusiasts around the world raising their eyebrows whenever those words are uttered in that sequence. Yes, this is a 40 year old single malt from Campbeltown's much-loved Springbank distillery, which was filled into an Oloroso Sherry butt that was emptied in October 2008. It was bottled for the Chieftain's range by Ian Macleod with an outturn of just 398 bottles.

I've been really good, can I have
