Palate A spicy start with dense, drying oak bringing notes of tobacco, dried fruit, stewed tea, and nuts. Tinned peaches and cream follow, with the cherry almond flavours of Bakewell Tart.
Finish More drying spice, black tea, leathery old oak, and candied pineapple, are joined by bittersweet marmalade, and softer notes of blueberry porridge with warm syrup.
