Historic wine and spirit merchant Nickolls & Perks is stepping into the indie bottling world in style with this 25-year-old single malt from Springbank! Distilled in 1997, the whisky spent its entire maturation in a single fresh rum barrel, yielding a total of just 105 cask-strength bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Bananas and ginger root initially, before giving way to notes of sea spray and lime that meld with wood lacquer and moss. Chai tea and pecans precede the return of ginger spice and banana, with a light remembrance of Campbeltown Harbour. Tropical with a whiff of Campbeltown mustiness.
