Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oof, deliciously decadent with notes of rich, sweet Madeira, sultanas, oily walnuts, and fragrant tobacco. Fluffy pancakes with blueberries, maple syrup, and vanilla cream join notes of burnt baked cheesecake.
Palate
Oily oak and biscuity malt lead the way, with waves of butterscotch and soft, creamy vanilla. There's a herbaceous note beneath, with a touch of cedar spice and toasted marshmallows.
Finish
Peppery warmth and drying oak are doused with waves of golden syrup, nutty barley, and sticky toffee pudding. Things remain gently oily, with waxed fruit and buttered malt loaf.
