An early 2016 release of Springbank's much-loved 12 Year Old Cask Strength single malt Scotch whisky. A splendid Campbeltown expression, bottled at 54.1% ABV.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange zest and ripe pear, along with light smoke and a touch of dark chocolate.
Palate
Smoke builds and builds throughout, bringing with it vanilla, Sherried raisins and black pepper.
Finish
A flavoursome, long and peaty finish.
