This is the second release from Springbank's Rundlets and Kilderkins range. This is a 2001 vintage Longrow, the heavily peated single malt aged for 11 years in small 60 and 80-litre casks. The result of this is an increased spiciness in the finished spirit.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Hints of soft smoke and pine needles. Overripe grape, tangy crisp green apples. A touch of treacle and malt.
Sweet, creamy malt with huge spices. Soft peat smoke, custard apples, cooked fruit and dried peels. Peppery.
Black pepper and molasses, allspice and hints of smoke.

I can't find the apples. Are they missing in my bottle?
A wonderful dram!!!
