Hazelburn 10yo 2007

A 10 year old Hazelburn, distilled at Springbank in 2007 and then matured in refill Marsala hogshead for a decade before being bottled for the 2018 Campbeltown Malts Festival. This whisky has some bite, bottled at cask strength of 59.6% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Clean and refreshing apples and pears alongside yeasty notes of fresh bread dough, balanced by chocolate shavings and sweet maple syrup.

Palate Handfuls of dried fruit, hazelnuts and a good helping of oak, with a pinch of pepper and a kick of fresh ginger.

Finish Dry, medium long with a lingering grape sweetness.
